Biography

Emile is a native Ivorian and a mid-level result-oriented development professional with national and international experience .
He currently works as a Regional Program Officer with the West African Civil Society Forum (WACSOF), the umbrella organization of Civil Society in West Africa based in Nigeria. Prior to joining WACSOF, Emile worked with the Japan International Cooperation Agency office in Cote d’Ivoire as the private sector development program officer with focus on women entrepreneurship. Formerly, he interned at the African Institute for Social and Economic Development office in Burkina Faso and he worked with the United Nations Office in Cote d’Ivoire as well as with the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) in Ghana under its competitive ‘ Next Generation Internship Program ’.
Emile is an alumnus of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations and Education First (UNAOC-EF)’s joint ‘Youth for Change Leadership Program’ in the USA, benefitting the global top youth leaders yearly .
He holds a Master’s degree of American Studies and of Ethics and Governance from the University of Cote d’Ivoire and the West African School for Moral and Political Sciences, respectively. Emile is an author, a web editor, a member of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Network and a passionate blogger.
His areas of primary interest include International Development program management, Women and Youth Empowerment, Organizational Development, Civil Society Development, Democratic governance and Research .
